Intro…
Do you remember day dreaming when you were a little kid? In those days, we could be anyone…an astronaut, a doctor, a professional athlete, or even a rock star; our only limit was our creativity. Then what happened? We went to school, we grew up, we inherited responsibilities, and we let our true passion slide to the back burner and time just keeps going by.
In my life I’ve taken a stand. I’ve taken a stand on being “normal” or settling for “average.” I decided a long time ago that I was going to live life to the fullest and only do what makes me truly happy. To live a life where there are no boundaries, no rules, and no one telling me what to do. I am a firm believer of living a life of purpose. We’re all here for a reason and you just have to have the desire to figure out what it is and decide right there and then that you’re not going to stop until you reach your dreams.
My Story…
I’ve been on an entrepreneurial warpath for years and I have tasted the sweet life and also experienced what it’s like to live on the brink of bankruptcy. I commonly refer to it as swinging the “entrepreneurial bat.” I hit a homerun at a young age, struck out a couple of times, and then found my mojo again.
My first home run…
As mentioned in the video above I fell in love with network marketing because it represented an abundance of opportunity. What excited me the most is that to be really successful you had to help and teach other people how to be successful. It wasn’t the money, or the BMW M3 that I bought, it was the feeling that I got from helping other people. To hear other people tell me that I played a part in turning their life around or helping to change them for the better was a feeling that I can’t easily describe in words. The best explanation that I can give is that it was like I was 100% at peace with my life. I’d go to bed at night with a smile ear to ear and a feeling that I had done something great, something to be remembered.
Striking out…
So what happened!? The two billion dollar company that I was with wasn’t quick enough to change with technology and they pulled the rug out from under us as they filed for bankruptcy. I went from being a 21 year old kid living life like a king to being on the cusp of financial disaster. What I love about my experience in network marketing is that it gave me tough skin and a burning desire to study other entrepreneurs. With that, I knew that this was just a test and that every successful entrepreneur has had many more failures than successes. So I quickly rebounded and moved on into the real estate industry.
Getting my mojo back…
The Secret…
After having a couple of entrepreneurial “strikeouts” my mother was kind enough to give me the book The Secret. As soon as I got my hands on it I couldn’t put it down. I read it straight through in one sitting and it completely flipped me out. I had always noticed that I seemed to get what I thought about but never realized that there was a science or rationale behind it. This book made me realize that I could control my destiny by simply controlling that little voice in my head.
So what did I do? Well, I went a bit overboard of course! I decided to get a tattoo of a cross on my chest with the “S” from the cover of the book and the words “Believe 2012″ written backwards. So if we ever cross paths on the beach you may be wondering what that gibberish is on my chest. However, from my perspective, I’m able to read “Believe 2012″ every single morning when I’m in front of the mirror brushing my teeth. The meaning behind the Believe 2012 is that it represents my lifelong goal of becoming financially free and living my passion by 30 years old. Since I’m a Christmas baby (that’s how I got the name Nick) 2012 represents my deadline for my goal. It may be a little weird but I tell ya it works!
After that point, everything in my life started coming together. I started attracting people into my life in droves. I went from being in real estate to all of the sudden being the “National Trainer” for a new business networking company. I then spent a year building and training small business networking groups all over the United States. It was also a catalyst for me to find my passion with social media.
Discovering the power of internet marketing…
There were three events that led me here:
1. When I first got into selling real estate I started a non-profit business to help raise money for local charities. It was primarily web based and I used television commercials to drive traffic to the website. The result was that within 30 days I got it on the first page of Google. What blew my socks off was that even after I pulled the plug on all of the advertisements the traffic kept coming. I was getting over 1,000 free unique visitors a day and it was an experience that completely changed my life.
2. While working as a REALTOR I sold a listing in just 6 hours and posted it on Facebook. The status update read: “Just sold a house in 6 hours, woo-hoo!” The results were staggering. I got three calls from people that I hadn’t spoken to in years. I ended up closing business with 2 of them and received over $10,000 in commissions. That was one of my “aha” moments that helped to solidify my vision.
3. As I was training the local professionals how to network and get business I started to see the bigger picture. At that time social media was just starting to hit critical mass and I realized that combining my local networking strategies to social media could create incredible results.
I listened to my intuition and decided to get the best training that money could buy. I traveled all over and studied with some of the best internet marketers in the country.
My mission…
My mission is to build a tribe of like-minded entrepreneurs who are interested in turning their passion into a business and living life to the absolute fullest. For some, it will start with using social media to attract more customers to your current business…for others it will lead to a much larger personal and professional transformation that will help you follow that dream that you’ve had in the back of your mind since you were a little kid. I want to help you live with passion and purpose so that when you wake up in the morning YOU decide that you’re going to work because you WANT to…not because you HAVE to.
To achieving your wildest dreams,

Hey Nick,
I enjoyed watching your video. I didn’t really expect that the good news about you becoming successful was going to nose dive, but glad you picked your self up and that you are successful again.
I think mindset is everything and if for example your mother set you up with a negative mindset, well, I guess you can imagine what the results would have been like!
Look forward to working with you; I am a novice Internet Market who also has a passion for social media.

Hi Nick you know I share the same vision as you and have for many years. I too was a network marketer and I too have had my share of success and also times that were not so. I have lived my life to the fullest with no regrets and as the Song goes, I did my way” I have traveled the world and I have been a Rodeo Clown, a Surfer, a Soldier, a mentor, a student and I have been happy in all that I have done because, I did it my way!
Since coming across you in my search for the next big thing in my pursuit of excellence you have shown me most importantly that I am not alone. You have created a superb structure that makes this dream of ours real and actionable. I want thank you for being you and for never saying never.
I wish you all the success you so deserve in all that you do. If I can ever be a help to you in anyway please let me know. I am the Director of Social Media for Oora Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. I arrived last month after living for 12 years in Thailand where I cut my teeth in the business of internet marketing. I have a serious business opportunity now with all the energy and drive that comes from years of hard and focused work.
Thanks again!
